Yesterday! one of my friend asked me how to contact the owner of a website if contact form is not available on the site?
Normally most of the webmasters add contact form on there website, If you can’t find the contact details on your desired site then there is a another way to get the website owner details, Usually i use this method to cross check the owner details if I’m going to buy that site/blog or to check the credibility of the site if i’m planning to do business or shopping transaction with them.
To find the owner of any website or domain, you need to use a free tool which will give you the following details.
- Registrar Contact Information : Contact information of registrar from where this domain purchased.
- Administrative Contact Information : Website Admin Contact Details
- Name Servers : Hosting site name where site hosted
- Website Thumbnail : Recent Thumbnail of website
You can use tools like who.is or whois.domaintools.com to find owner of any websites, This tools are completely free to use by which you can check registration date, Expiry date, Name severs and any other site name which is owned by the same owner. But in some cases you cant find website owner details Because webmasters use “private registration” which means you cant check there details in whois search, If its important to you to get the website owner details then you can contact the registrar of that website who can help you out with owner details.
